All Gloss Naturals lacquers are made without the 7 chemicals below, and they're vegan, cruelty-free and made in the USA.

Toluene
A solvent with the familiar smell of paint thinner.
Dibutyl phthalate (DBP)
A plasticizer once common in nail polish.
Formaldehyde
A preservative and hardener.
Formaldehyde resin
A formaldehyde derivative used in coatings and adhesives; a known allergen.
Camphor
A plasticizer that can leave nails yellowed.
Xylene
Parabens

What's in Gloss Naturals lacquer

Nail polish can't be made entirely from organic ingredients, so we choose ingredients carefully.

Ethyl acetate
A solvent with a pear-like smell that helps the other ingredients blend.
Butyl acetate
A solvent with a banana-like smell, found naturally in many fruits.
Isopropyl alcohol
A solvent.
Nitrocellulose
A film-former derived from plant cellulose that makes the finish durable.
Adipic acid
An organic compound used in the film-forming resin.
Trimethyl pentanyl diisobutyrate
A biodegradable plasticizer that helps polish stay on.
Stearalkonium hectorite
Keeps the polish thick and even (also found in lipstick and eye makeup).
Diacetone alcohol
Helps produce a glossy, hard, chip-resistant film.
Citric acid
An acid from citrus fruits.

All coloring agents are FDA-approved, including aluminum powder (CI 77000), bismuth oxychloride (CI 77163), iron oxides (CI 77499 / CI 77491), mica (CI 77019) and titanium dioxide (CI 77891).

Packaging

Gloss Naturals bottles, lids, wands and brushes are recyclable. Boxes are 100% post-consumer recycled paper printed with soy ink. All products are made in the USA, vegan and cruelty-free.
